Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 19, 2026

The short version: We collect only what we need to run Clinvoy. We never sell your data. We never store health card numbers or medical records. You can delete your account and all your data at any time.

1. Information we collect

When you create a Clinvoy account, we collect your name, email address, province, and city. If you book an appointment, we collect the reason for your visit and your appointment preferences. We do not collect or store health card numbers, medical records, or any protected health information.

We also collect standard usage data such as pages visited, search queries, and device type to help us improve the platform.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the Clinvoy platform — specifically to show you relevant clinics, process appointment bookings, send email notifications you have opted into, and communicate platform updates.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with advertisers. We do not use your data for purposes beyond operating and improving Clinvoy.

3. Email notifications

If you subscribe to clinic alerts or enable email notifications in your account, we will send you emails when new appointment slots open, when your bookings are confirmed or updated, and for appointment reminders.

You can unsubscribe from all email notifications at any time through your account settings or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

4. Information shared with clinics

When you book an appointment through Clinvoy, the clinic receives your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and the reason for your visit. This information is necessary for the clinic to confirm and manage your appointment.

Clinvoy does not share your information with clinics for any purpose beyond appointment management.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider with servers located in Canada (ca-central-1 region). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can manage most of your information directly through your Clinvoy account settings. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at privacy@clinvoy.ca.

As a Canadian service, we comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

7. Cookies

Clinvoy uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies from third-party ad networks.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the Clinvoy website. Continued use of Clinvoy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
